I have also checked the OS and hard drive both come back with clean bills. When I disable the Intel one, it does not detect any graphics drivers. I have tried running Dell diagnostics, but since it does not detect the Nvidia card, it runs it for the Intel one instead. I eventually somehow fixed the black-screen on Windows logo problem when the Intel adapter was enabled, but I still cannot get my Nvidia driver/card to be activated by the PC. Turned out when I looked at Device Manager that my Nvidia driver was not taking when I would install it. but that was just the start.Īfter re-installing updates and programs, I tried playing a couple games, but everything was running at like 5 FPS. until I tried disabling the Intel HD Graphics 530 display adapter. I tried repairing Windows, re-installing Windows, updating drivers, etc. Finally figured out while troubleshooting that I could boot in Safe Mode. Upon restarting, I would get a black screen after Windows 10 logo that never went away. So here's what has happened: I was playing a game last week and it froze/crashed my laptop. Any assistance here would be truly appreciated Hi, I have posted on multiple forums and been searching like crazy for a solution to this problem, but I am getting nowhere.
